The Network Gippsland strengthens paediatric skills through its latest online tutorial

The Network Gippsland continues to support the region's medical workforce through its For Doctors, By Doctors education series, recently hosting an online tutorial focused on the assessment and management of common paediatric presentations.

Presented by Dr Sari Hayllar, Consultant Paediatrician from West Gippsland, the session explored the assessment and management of the febrile child, common paediatric rashes, and practical strategies for managing parental expectations in clinical settings.

With 27 in attendance the interactive session, encouraged participants to ask questions, share experiences and discuss evidence-based approaches to caring for paediatric patients. Dr Hayllar also highlighted current best practice guidelines and valuable clinical resources to support healthcare professionals working across both primary and tertiary care.
